The Truant Reacts Pt. 1

First Edward ‘Ted’ Kennedy, and now this… I find it sad yet remarkable that within the same week of a summer fleeting, we lose two great men, both of which will be remembered most for letting their mistress drown in a river after saving themselves from their sinking automobiles.

Ted and I made our amends before he left, and it always made me chuckle when he said, “G’s up hoes down!” cause I knew he meant it. As far a Chennault goes, as you can see from his scathing self-penned obituary, he still holds a few grudges toward the way I handled myself in the office and in the public eye. Maybe it was a secret jealousy that he harbored towards me because I could grow more masculine facial hair, never relied on the government for healthcare, or possible because I never let a woman drown in a sinking car which I had escaped from.

No matter the reason, I have forgiven Chennault for his past transgressions and wish him the best of luck “treasure hunting”, whatever the fuck that means. But, as far as him jumping our ship just because the rats were growing larger throughout the years; This will never be forgotten. As and far as paying him back: Never. And that’s a promise over your whore of a mistress’ cold, wet body.
